Jannik Sinner moved past Cameron Norrie 6-2, 7-5 at Madrid Open on Tuesday, reaching the quarter-finals. The Italian world number one was scheduled for an unusual 11:00 am start to allow potential next opponent Rafael Jodar recovery time after his match ended at 1:00 am Monday.

Sinner criticized tournament organizers, saying matches starting at 8pm are too late. "Two matches from 8pm is very late," he noted. "You finish at 1:30am, and you need to eat, you need to have treatment, so it's very late."

The Italian won 81% of first-serve points and 63% of second-serve points, extending his Masters 1000 winning streak to 25 matches. He's only the second man to win his first 20 Masters 1000 matches of the season, joining Novak Djokovic.

Meanwhile, Arthur Fils also advanced to quarter-finals with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Tomas Martin Etcheverry. With Sinner's dominant performance, can he finally break through to reach the semi-finals in Madrid, which would be a career milestone for the Italian star?
