Soludo Approves Process For New Permanent Secretaries

They are expected not to be below the rank of Deputy Director and not above that of Director, with at least two years remaining before retirement. The notice also invites qualified officers outside the Anambra State Civil Service, provided they are within the same directorate cadre. Permanent secretaries act as the administrative heads of ministries, responsible for ensuring smooth operations and implementation of government policies. The latest move initiated by Governor Soludo is aimed at strengthening the civil service and ensuring effective management of public service affairs and improving governance. There are currently 19 permanent secretaries and two auditors-general in the Anambra State Public Service.
