Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League Save of the Season award for her outstanding save in Brighton’s 1-1 draw with Liverpool last November. The 25-year-old tipped Fuka Nagano’s long-range strike onto the crossbar during the match. Nnadozie also won the Save of the Month award in November 2025. Other nominees include Manchester City’s Ayaka Yamashita, Leicester City’s Janina Leitzig, Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe, and Elene Lete of London City Lionesses. Nnadozie joined Brighton on a free transfer last month after leaving French club Paris FC. The nomination highlights her continued excellence in England’s top women’s league and reinforces Nigeria’s growing presence in global football. Fans can follow the voting process and support her bid as the winner will be announced at the end of the WSL season.
