SuperFalcons crush Cameroon 3-1 in WAFCON prep
Nigeria's Super Falcons defeated Cameroon 3-1 in Yaounde on Tuesday, reversing a 1-0 loss from Saturday's first friendly. Forward Chinwendu Ihezuo equalized in the 32nd minute after a cross from Rinsola Babajide, who also scored from close range before halftime. Michelle Alozie sealed the victory with a flying header in the 64th minute. Coach Justine Madugu fielded a stronger, more experienced squad for Tuesday's match. The win restores confidence ahead of Nigeria's WAFCON campaign in Morocco (March 17-April 3), where they'll face Malawi, Zambia, and Egypt. Cameroon, in Group D, will play Ghana, Mali, and Cape Verde. Reports suggest WAFCON could be postponed pending CAF confirmation.
