Residents said the attack happened around 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Imande Dem settlement, located along Gbajimba Road in Uvir Council Ward, leaving the community in mourning. According to local sources, suspected armed herdsmen invaded the area while people were asleep and targeted a household. A woman, Mrs. Utsuwa Chicha, and her three sons were killed during the нападение. A young boy from the family survived but suffered gunshot wounds. He was reportedly rushed to a hospital, where doctors carried out emergency surgery to extract bullets from his body. Community members also revealed that the woman’s husband had been killed in an earlier incident, leaving the family already vulnerable before this latest tragedy.
