TaxStreem, an AI-powered tax compliance platform, launched in March 2026 to help Nigerian businesses automate tax calculation and filing. Founded by ex-KPMG tax advisor Kelechi Ibe and ML engineer Sam Ayo, the platform uses AI to interpret financial transactions in real time—assigning correct tax treatments (VAT, withholding, exemptions) when users connect bank accounts from GTBank, Access Bank, Kuda, Paystack, or Flutterwave.

The launch precedes Nigeria’s mandatory e-invoicing system, which takes effect July 2027 and requires businesses to digitally record transactions for stricter tax compliance. TaxStreem’s four tools handle: tax calculation (Numens), automated government filing (Flux), invoicing/error-checking (Prism), and AI-driven business insights (Martina). SMEs pay ₦25,000 monthly; enterprise and API pricing available.

With enforcement increasing, Ibe warns non-compliant businesses will suffer. Will you integrate TaxStreem ahead of the 2027 mandate, or risk penalties from manual tax errors?
