Metro Three Benue APC youth leaders killed in crash on way to congress buried Published on April 9, 2026 By Winner James The remains of three All Progressives Congress (APC) youth leaders who died in a road accident have been laid to rest in Otukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State. The deceased, Hon. Anawo Benjamin Akor, Hon. Ogbe Enemari, and Hon. Abraham Enenche, lost their lives in a fatal crash along the Makurdi–Lafia road while travelling to attend the APC North Central Zonal Congress in Lafia, Nasarawa State. Their burial on Wednesday was attended by political leaders, party members, and sympathisers who gathered to mourn the young party faithful described as committed and promising. Speaking during the funeral, Rt. Hon. Anthony Agom, APC House of Representatives aspirant for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, expressed deep sorrow over the incident. He said the death of the trio has created a huge vacuum in the party and the Benue South political space. The atmosphere at the ceremony was filled with grief as mourners paid emotional tributes to the deceased, recalling their dedication and service to the party. Prayers were also offered for the repose of their souls, with calls for strength and comfort for their families.
