Tim Sherwood, former Premier League manager, predicts Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior will be the next Premier League manager sacked after Chelsea's 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Tuesday. The defeat marked Chelsea's fifth consecutive league loss without scoring, a drought not seen since 1912. Brighton's Ferdi Kadioglu, Jack Hinshelwood, and Danny Welbeck scored the goals.

Rosenior's position looks increasingly precarious as Chelsea fans protested against the club's BlueCo ownership during the match and demanded his dismissal. "There are protests occurring and flags displayed against BlueCo; he will not endure this, Liam Rosenior will not endure this," Sherwood remarked to Sky Sports. The 41-year-old manager faces an extremely challenging task altering the atmosphere at a club where supporters are "raised on winning trophies, the most prestigious trophies, alongside the greatest players."

The defeat also seriously jeopardizes Chelsea's hopes of securing Champions League qualification for next season. Despite Chelsea's assertion that there are no plans to relieve Rosenior of his duties, Sherwood believes the current fan unrest will make his position untenable. Chelsea now faces an uncertain future both on the pitch and in the managerial hotseat.
