Toni Kroos names Jude Bellingham world's best midfielder when in top form

Earlier today, former Germany international Toni Kroos declared Real Madrid's Jude Bellingham the best midfielder in the world when the England star is at peak form. Speaking on his podcast 'Einfach mal Luppen' with brother Felix, Kroos stated Bellingham is 'one of the most complete midfielders in the world' and has the potential to be the best if in top form.

The praise follows Bellingham's impressive performances since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in 2023, including a standout FIFA World Cup summer 2026 where he scored seven goals and provided one assist for England. For Nigerian football fans following La Liga or the Three Lions, this recognition from a respected veteran like Kroos highlights Bellingham's rising global stature.

Does Bellingham's blend of goal-scoring, defensive contribution, and tactical intelligence justify Kroos' declaration as the world's best midfielder, or do established stars like Kevin De Bruyne and Luka Modric still hold that title?
