The development was contained in a post shared on X on Tuesday by security analyst Zagazola Makama. The suspects were said to have fled the scene after spotting the advancing troops, abandoning their mission. Two victims were rescued during the operation. They were both found with gunshot wounds. “The victims were immediately evacuated and taken for medical treatment,” Makama added. The post further stated that troops have since increased patrols and surveillance in the area to prevent further attacks and improve security for residents.
