On arrival, they found that two civilians had suffered gunshot injuries during the attack. The injured victims were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, during a follow-up search of the area, five kidnapped victims were discovered and rescued after being abandoned by the fleeing attackers. “The victims were rescued unharmed and have since been reunited with their families, while the injured persons are receiving treatment,” the source said.
