Two die in Cele container truck collision on Lagos expressway

Two persons died in a late-night collision between two 40-foot container trucks on the Cele inward axis of Lagos's Oshodi-Apapa Expressway. Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed one driver (T-392 LA) was killed while trapped in his cabin, and a second victim was found beneath one of the trucks. The rescue operation required technical extraction and collaboration with LASEMA. LASTMA GM Olalekan Bakare-Oki called it a sobering reminder of freight corridor dangers, urging drivers to exercise discipline and use warning signals at night. The incident caused temporary traffic disruption before SEHMU evacuated remains.
