Olumuyiwa Ayodele Elegbede, a Marketing and SEO Manager at Vidi‑Corp Ltd in the UK, says that as search engines rely more on AI‑generated answers, the core technical foundations of a website—clean structure, fast loading, proper headings and schema—are being tested more severely than ever. He notes that if a page’s structured data is messy, headings don’t match the content, or the site is slow to crawl, AI summaries will fail just as old search algorithms did, except now a site can be left out of the answer box entirely rather than just losing a ranking spot. Drawing on his BSc in Computer Networks from the University of East London, an MSc in Data Science from the University of East Anglia, and his Chartered Institute of Marketing membership, Elegbede built SEO Inspector, a free Chrome extension that runs a real‑time on‑page technical SEO check with one click, showing title tags, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy and crawl‑friendliness. Since launching in 2025 through word‑of‑mouth, the tool has over 600 installations, about 60 active weekly users and a 5‑star rating. He also runs a YouTube channel teaching practical technical SEO, automation and on‑page tactics for marketers without a developer background. He argues that businesses that get the fundamentals right will stay visible in AI‑driven search, while those that ignore the technical side risk invisibility. Will you run a quick technical SEO audit on your site this week using a free tool like SEO Inspector, or will you continue to focus only on content and keywords?
