US Congressman Riley Moore has warned Nigeria and other nations against testing President Donald Trump's resolve, declaring that Washington will no longer tolerate threats to American security from foreign adversaries. Speaking on News Max on Monday, Moore framed the warning as part of a renewed Monroe Doctrine targeting Venezuela's Nicolás Maduro, whom he described as a narco-terrorist inviting Chinese military presence in the region.

Moore dismissed Venezuela's government as ridiculous but dangerous, insisting their anti-American rhetoric reflects genuine intent to destroy the United States. He connected Venezuela's situation to what he called an existential fight for Western civilization, referencing alleged socialist and communist influence in New York and London.

"Do not test this President's resolve. Many have tried, and all have failed," Moore said specifically addressing Nigeria. His comments signal potential US military or economic action against Venezuela that could affect regional stability. With Trump reportedly considering intervention, Nigerian businesses and citizens with ties to Venezuela or the wider Caribbean region should monitor developments closely for possible travel restrictions, sanctions impact, or diplomatic fallout affecting West African interests.
