VOVE ID opens applications for African startup compliance program

VOVE ID, a Morocco-based compliance infrastructure company, has opened applications for its VOVE Compliance Infrastructure Program targeting African startups in regulated sectors. The program will select six to eight startups for assessments covering KYC, KYB, AML, fraud prevention, governance and audit readiness. Applications close on August 20, after which selected startups will participate in a compliance workshop and one-on-one readiness reviews. The program launch comes as African regulators tighten anti-money laundering controls—Nigeria's Central Bank recognized AI for financial crime monitoring in March, while South Africa published an AML draft bill after exiting the FATF greylist in October 2025. The 24-question Startup Compliance Readiness Assessment will help participants identify priority gaps and receive a personalized roadmap for the next 30, 60, and 90 days. VOVE ID targets live or near-launch companies building in fintech, digital lending, payments, crypto, marketplaces, iGaming, mobility, trading platforms, cross-border commerce, and regulated SaaS sectors. The program addresses the common challenge startups face when discovering compliance shortcomings during investor or regulator due diligence.
