Wikki Tourists has declared six players Absent Without Official Leave (AWOL) and notified the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over their unapproved absence. The Bauchi-based club confirmed the players failed to report for training and official engagements without authorization, constituting a serious breach of professional conduct and contractual obligations.

Affected players include Abdullahi Pepe, Chizoba Okoh, Sani Ibrahim, Abubakar Ibrahim Aliyu, Ibrahim Shuaibu and Barhama Mansur. Wikki Tourists stated that all attempts to establish contact and secure the players' return to camp have been unsuccessful, with neither resumed duties nor satisfactory explanations provided.

The club reiterated its commitment to discipline and professionalism, signaling potential disciplinary proceedings with the NFF. This absence could impact team preparations for upcoming matches and potentially lead to sanctions against the players.
